RRAMS offers a varied programme of running, swimming, cycling and multisport training for members of all abilities.
Our sessions combine structured coaching, social training and supportive group sessions to help members build confidence, improve fitness and enjoy training together.

SWIM SESSIONS
Edge Hill University - Wednesdays & Fridays
Work on technique, drills, and focused efforts across lanes tailored to your ability. All sessions are coached and open to members of all levels.
Open Water Swimming at Carr Mill Dam - Mondays
Our most popular sessions, designed for swimmers developing their skills and those who love swimming in open water. This is a safe, structured environment. Sessions are available to help build confidence.
BIKE SESSIONS
Group rides, offered by club members of varying speeds and abilities, anyone can advertise a ride. Coffee stops are often included. Feel free to advertise on club social media pages. Feel free to speak to one of the coaches if you need some advice on how best to set up a ride or for route suggestions.
We also run Zwift sessions throughout the winter months. These are published on club social media.
RUN SESSIONS
Rainford Scout Carpark / Village Hall - Tuesdays and Wednesdays
The aims of our run sessions are for members to build confidence, improve running fitness and technique and to support personal training plans;. The added bonus is the social element of training together. Sessions vary throughout the year so keep a lookout for updates on social media.
OTHER TRAINING SESSIONS
We also offer ad hoc Zwift sessions on Thursday evenings, providing a flexible option for members to train together indoors. During the winter months, we also run strength and conditioning sessions to support overall fitness, improve resilience and complement swim, bike and run training. These sessions will be published on club social media groups.
